The Leema Acoustics Tucana II integrated amplifier represents a
substantial sonic upgrade of the already sensational original, winner
of the Hi-Fi News Best Integrated Amplifier Award for 2006.
With its graceful looks and powerful performance, the Tucana II is a dual mono design using three heavy-duty toroidal power transformers and a refined bi-polar output
stage. Using six output devices, each channel is capable of swinging over
forty five amps of current, ensuring a vice like grip and precise control of
the loudspeakers. Both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs; a record output, full remote
control, a sophisticated volume display, and even an MP3 input and a
high-quality headphone output (both 3.5 mm) complete the picture.
