"A special event
that
really does stand out from the crowd." That's how Alan Sircom,
editor of Hi-Fi+ described our event last year. And this
year, we're expanding!
The
Bath AudioFest 2012, sponsored by Cool Gales, will be held on Saturday, 26 May. We'll be
open from 10 AM to 5 PM. Venue is the same as last year, the Bath &
County Club, Queens Parade, Bath BA1 2NJ, just off Queen Square,
right next to the big Charlotte Street car park, and steps away from
the sites and shops of Bath.
Plus, we're adding a couple of large rooms in the Royal Literary
and Scientific Institution, right on Queen Square, and just a very
short walk from the Bath and County Club.
STOP PRESS: Frank Schröder
will be joining us, demonstrating his Artemis SA-1 turntable and
TA-1 tonearm. Frank, whose hand-made tonearms are considered by many
to be the pinnacle of tonearm design, will also be giving a talk on
turntable set-up.
The Bath AudioFest is fast becoming the high-end show in the UK, featuring
brands no longer seen at the crowded "big" shows, brands like Esoteric, Sonus
Faber, Aesthetix, Clearaudio, Scheu, and many others. Diverse Vinyl will again
join us, with a huge selection of new vinyl for sale. No TVs, no home cinema,
just high quality two-channel audio, with tea and coffee served in a very
relaxed atmosphere.
Admission will be £ 3.00, with all admissions proceeds going to
The Musicians' Benevolent Fund charity. Please join us!
